Missy Edwards is a Milwaukee-born advocate, speaker, consultant, and trainer committed to helping individuals recognize coercive control, navigate post-separation abuse, reclaim their voices, and move toward lives rooted in freedom, safety, and self-determination.
Drawing from nearly a decade of advocacy experience, extensive professional training, and lived experience, Missy brings compassion, honesty, and a trauma-informed perspective to every space she enters. She offers speaking engagements, consulting, personal coaching, educational workshops, and supportive group experiences designed to foster healing, connection, empowerment, and meaningful change.
Missy is also the founder of The Liberation Collective, a supportive community created in partnership with MsLady Inc.’s RECLAIM program. The collective provides women with an affirming space to build relationships, share experiences, rediscover their identities, and reclaim their lives beyond abuse and adversity.
Raised in Milwaukee, Missy remains deeply connected to her community and passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, supported, and inspired to move forward. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting the beach, strolling through botanical gardens, sailing, reading, traveling, and discovering new experiences.
